Absolutely be a Tigger! Absolutely make lemonade with all the lemons you receive. Thank you for this article and for sharing about Randy Pausch.
This is a deeply powerful book, if a challenging one to read emotionally. Thank you for your analysis, I enjoyed it.
What an intriguing (and horrifying) story. Thank you for sharing!
Growing up in California in the 80s, my mom was always on a health craze. We always (and sometimes only) had crispbreads in our house because she didn't like bread much herself. Wasa and Ryvita were on a special shelf, but we also always bought Finn- Crisp. Try checking health food stores or natural food co-ops. I am sure you will find it. I can see the flat little box with the flip-top so vividly in my mind right now! Thank you for sharing!
I am now on day three since being diagnosed with a benign brain tumour.
While my biggest problem is a dreadful headache in the back of my head (an unusual place for a headache for me) which makes it hard for me to lie comfortably in bed, my newest problem has been the sneaking feeling that I am wearing a hat.
I feel that it is essential to point out that I am not, in fact, wearing a hat, but it is something my hands go to verify frequently. Perhaps this is due to fluid in my brain or the tumour pushing on things in a new way? I will have to ask them this when I next see a doctor. Until then, I will soldier on, calm in the knowledge that my head is hat-free.
